RESIDENCIA INTERNACIONAL PERFILES

en OCEANIA del POLONIO, Uruguay

Desde el 2013 organizo estas residencias. La residencia internacional PERFILES es un proyecto de múltiples dimensiones. Un grupo interdisciplinario de artistas seleccionados, es invitado a vivir cinco días en la casa CACTUS, a 300 metros del mar, rodeado de naturaleza agreste.

Los artistas, deslocalizados de sus lugares cotidianos, comparten un contexto y una experiencia espacio-temporal inusual. Se ven enfrentados a una naturaleza externa y otra interna, cerca de un mar que modifica radicalmente sus costas, cambiando su perfil continuamente.

La residencia busca propiciar que las experiencias transitadas en este nuevo territorio y el contacto activo con otros artistas influyan en el perfil del artista y que se manifiesten en obra que será expuesta en 704 OFICINA DE ARTE.

PERFILES international residencies is a multy-dimentional proyect.

a selected interdisciplinary group of artists are invited to live five days at the CACTUS house. 300 metres from the sea, surrounded by nature.

These artists are dislocated from their everyday places and share an unusual both context and time.space experience. they face an external and an internal nature, near a sea that bathes the coasts modifiyng their shaoe continously.

the residency looks for to influence the artist's profile with both the lived experiencies within this new territory and the active contact with the other artists; influence to be manifested in works emerged fromthe residency and to be shown at 704 OFICINA DE ARTE.
